Irrigation System & Landscaping Lighting Installation
If you are going to invest in a landscape, it's a good idea to consider how you will consistently water. Sprinkler systems give you more leisure time and allow you to leave your yard and go on summer vacations without worrying if your plants will be healthy when you return.
A sprinkler system also allows you to water early in the morning. This time is the best time, since water pressure is stronger. There is usually less wind, the air is still cool, thus you will lose less water to evaporation. Also, the sun angle will not let droplets of water on foliage magnify the sun's rays and burn the leaves.

Sprinkler Systems By Gilmar's Landscape
„Your lawn needs about 1″ of water every week to maintain its health and appearance.”
Some summers it gets that naturally… Most summers it does not.
We professionally install and maintain underground sprinkler systems that take the effort and guesswork out of lawn watering. We will work with you to design and install the sprinkler system that meets your needs.
To help protect your sprinkler system from damage during freezing weather, you must wrap the Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB). It is the only water-holding part of the system above ground, and it is usually located in the front beds or on one side of the house in the back yard.

Landscaping Lighting
„Low Voltage Night-Lighting outdoor lighting.”
Low Voltage Night-Lighting 12-volt outdoor lighting is safe and economical.
Lighting gives your property a finished look and also provides some security to those dark areas in your yard.
"LED" lights are less expensive to operate and are enclosed in a sealed environment. This sealed environment is the actual light fixture that encloses the diode board. These “LED" diodes can't be touched or changed out like other less expensive store bought "LED" diodes. This sealed environment is the best way to keep moisture and humidity out.
"LED" lights can be easily installed on an existing Halogen low voltage system. There is no need to run more direct burial wire to accommodate these”LED" lights. If the existing Halogen (MR16) low voltage wire and lights are operational and are in good condition, you can splice the new fixture into the same wire (run). You will also be able to put more fixtures on the same wire since these ”LED" fixtures use significantly less electricity and are lower in wattage than an equivalent Halogen bulb.
This advanced "LED" technology allows the home owner to take advantage of useful features which can be added to this lighting system as an upgrade. If you would like to dim your lights, then the appropriate dimmable transformer and light fixture will need to be purchased.
